iRacing Doesn't Give You Slip Data.
We Built Around That.
The Problem
Other sims hand you wheel speed, slip ratio, slip angle. These numbers tell you exactly when a tire's about to let go. iRacing doesn't. So every haptic system that leans on that data? Blind, the moment you load into iRacing.
We didn't wait for iRacing to add it. We built our own way to see it.
Our Idea
A sliding tire doesn't just slide quietly. It changes how the entire car rotates, drifts, and responds to your steering. iRacing gives us full data on how the car moves, even without slip numbers. So instead of waiting on data that doesn't exist, we reconstruct tire state from vehicle behavior itself
Our Solution
We compare where the car is pointing against where it's actually traveling.
Target yaw rate (how fast the car should rotate based on your steering) vs. actual yaw rate (how fast it really is).
- Rotating less than expected → understeer, front's pushing wide
- Rotating more than expected → oversteer, back's coming around
