Commercial Register: HRB 32445 (AG Potsdam)
Managing Director: Benjamin Heese
1. Scope and Applicability
These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") apply to all sales and deliveries of goods by Sensit! GmbH ("Sensit") to consumers within the European Union. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession (§ 13 BGB).
2. Conclusion of Contract
Product listings on our website or other media do not constitute a binding offer, but an invitation to place an order. By submitting an order, the customer makes a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract. The contract is formed when Sensit sends an order confirmation via email or ships the goods.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are in Euro (EUR), inclusive of applicable VAT. Shipping costs, if any, are indicated separately during checkout. Accepted payment methods are displayed during the order process and may include credit card, PayPal, Klarna, and other secure third-party providers.
Payment is due immediately unless otherwise agreed.
4. Delivery
Delivery is made to the address specified by the customer. Delivery times are indicated on product pages. Delays caused by force majeure or unforeseeable events will be communicated without delay.
5. Retention of Title
The goods remain property of Sensit until full payment has been received.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Return Policy)
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you or a third party named by you (other than the carrier) takes possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:
Sensit! GmbH
Dianastraße 21, 14482 Potsdam, Germany
Email: support@sensit.tech
…via a clear declaration (e.g., by letter or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, though it is not mandatory.
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, excluding any delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for the refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or proof that they were sent back, whichever is earlier.
You must return the goods promptly, and in any case within 14 days from the day you notify us of your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
If the goods cannot be returned by standard postal service due to size or weight, the estimated cost of return is approximately EUR 15–25 within Germany (depending on shipping provider and package size).
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if this results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

9. Warranty
The statutory 2-year warranty applies to all goods.
If your item is defective, please contact us immediately with your order number, a description of the issue, and, if possible, photos. We will either repair or replace the product. If this is not possible, you may request a price reduction or contract cancellation.
9.1 Extended Warranty
9.1.1. General
SensitHaptics offers an optional Extended Warranty for the MTC-P Extreme. The MTC-P Extreme includes a standard 2-year manufacturer’s warranty from the original purchase date. The Extended Warranty is a voluntary service that extends this coverage beyond the standard period.
This extended warranty does not limit, replace, or waive any statutory consumer rights under applicable law. EU customers benefit from a mandatory 2-year legal guarantee under EU Directive 2019/771 from the seller; this extended warranty is offered in addition to — not instead of — that statutory guarantee. Statutory rights remain fully unaffected.
9.1.2. Eligibility
The Extended Warranty applies exclusively to the SensitHaptics MTC-P Extreme. To be eligible, the extended warranty must be purchased:
- together with the product, at the time of original purchase; or
- within 30 days of the original purchase date.
Proof of purchase is required to validate the warranty. Customers must retain their original purchase receipt or order confirmation. Without valid proof of purchase, warranty service cannot be provided.
Cross-reference: The warranty period (Section 3) always begins on the original purchase date, regardless of when the extended warranty is purchased.
9.1.3. Warranty Period
The Extended Warranty extends coverage from the end of the standard 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. The available plans are:
- 3-Year Total Coverage: Provides 3 years of total warranty coverage from the original purchase date. This means the Extended Warranty adds 1 year of coverage beyond the standard 2-year warranty.
- 5-Year Total Coverage: Provides 5 years of total warranty coverage from the original purchase date. This means the Extended Warranty adds 3 years of coverage beyond the standard 2-year warranty.
Example: A product purchased on 1 January 2026 with the 3-Year Total plan is covered until 31 December 2028. The 5-Year Total plan would extend coverage until 31 December 2030.
The warranty period always begins on the original purchase date of the MTC-P Extreme, not on the purchase date of the extended warranty.
9.1.4. Scope of Warranty
During the warranty period, SensitHaptics will provide support for defects in materials or workmanship arising under normal use. ‘Normal use’ means use in accordance with the product manual and technical specifications supplied with the MTC-P Extreme.
At its sole discretion, SensitHaptics will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include:
- repair of defective components;
- replacement of defective components; or
- replacement of the product with the same or a comparable model.
‘Comparable model’ means a product with materially equivalent technical specifications to the MTC-P Extreme at the time of the warranty claim. Replacement products may include certified refurbished units or functionally equivalent components.
9.1.5. Warranty Claim Procedure
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must contact SensitHaptics support at support@sensithaptics.com. The following steps apply:
- The customer must provide proof of purchase and a description of the defect.
- SensitHaptics will acknowledge the claim within 5 business days.
- Troubleshooting steps may be required before a return is authorised.
- If a physical inspection is required, SensitHaptics will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number. Products must not be returned without an RMA number.
- SensitHaptics will complete repair or replacement within 15 business days of receiving the returned product.
Return shipping costs are borne by SensitHaptics for valid warranty claims. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to SensitHaptics for initial inspection. If the claim is found to be invalid (e.g., damage resulting from misuse), return shipping costs will be charged to the customer.
If a warranty claim is rejected, the customer will receive a written explanation. Disputed decisions may be escalated as described in Section 10 (Dispute Resolution).
9.1.6. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- misuse or improper use of the product;
- improper installation not in accordance with the product manual;
- modification or repair carried out by unauthorised parties;
- physical damage or accidents;
- liquid damage;
- operation outside the recommended environmental conditions specified in the MTC-P Extreme product manual (Section 4.2 of the product manual defines operating temperature, humidity, and dust exposure limits);
- normal wear and cosmetic damage not resulting from a manufacturing defect.
Consumable parts are not covered. Cosmetic damage is not covered unless it is directly attributable to a manufacturing defect. If a customer believes cosmetic damage results from a manufacturing defect, they may submit a claim under Section 5. SensitHaptics will provide a written determination; customers may dispute this determination under Section 10.
9.1.7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SensitHaptics shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product or any defect covered under this warranty.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law. EU customers’ statutory rights under EU Directive 2019/771 and other applicable EU consumer protection legislation take precedence over this clause and cannot be waived or restricted by it. Customers in the United States may have additional rights that vary by state.
9.1.8. Transferability
The Extended Warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner of the MTC-P Extreme. To transfer the warranty:
- The original owner must notify SensitHaptics in writing at support@sensithaptics.com within 30 days of the transfer of ownership.
- The original proof of purchase must be provided to the new owner.
- SensitHaptics will update its warranty records and issue a confirmation of transfer to the new owner.
The new owner assumes all rights and obligations under this policy from the date of transfer. Warranty coverage continues until the original expiry date and is not extended by a transfer. SensitHaptics reserves the right to request documentation confirming the transfer of ownership.
9.1.9. Consumer Rights
European Union
EU customers are entitled to a mandatory 2-year legal guarantee under EU Directive 2019/771 (Sale of Goods Directive) from the seller. The Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) also applies. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces these statutory rights. The Extended Warranty is an optional additional service provided on top of these protections.
EU customers are also entitled to information about out-of-court dispute resolution options under the ADR Directive (2013/11/EU) — see Section 10.
United States
This warranty provides specific legal rights under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Additional rights may vary from state to state. This policy is intended to comply with the disclosure requirements of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, including the description of what is covered, what SensitHaptics will do in the event of a defect, how to obtain warranty service, the duration of the warranty, and information on available dispute resolution. A US-qualified legal professional should confirm compliance before publication.
9.1.10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Extended Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the customer’s country of residence.
In the event of a dispute arising from this warranty, customers are encouraged to contact SensitHaptics directly in the first instance at support@sensithaptics.com.
EU customers have the right to seek out-of-court dispute resolution through an accredited Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) body under EU Directive 2013/11/EU. SensitHaptics participates in the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform, accessible at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
US customers may have the right to use informal dispute settlement mechanisms as provided under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Details of available mechanisms will be provided upon request.
Where no resolution is reached through ADR or informal mechanisms, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hamburg, Germany, subject to any mandatory local jurisdiction rules applicable to consumer contracts.
10. Liability
Sensit is liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health due to negligence or intent, and for other damages resulting from gross negligence or breach of essential contractual obligations. For simple negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages. All other liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
11. Data Protection
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy:
https://sensithaptics.com/data-policy
12. Final Provisions
- German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
- If any provision of these GTC is invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
- Any reference to "written form" includes communication via email.
- The place of jurisdiction is Potsdam, Germany.
13. Referral Program
SensitHaptics offers a referral program managed through the UpPromote Affiliate App on Shopify. Participation in this program is subject to the following terms:
- Eligibility: Only customers who have completed a purchase on the SensitHaptics online store are eligible to receive a personal referral link and code. Non-customers and unverified accounts are not permitted to participate.
- Valid Referrals: A referral will be considered valid only if the referred customer uses a legitimate and active referral link or code during the checkout process. Referrals made without the use of a proper referral link or code will not qualify for any rewards.
- Referral Rewards: Any rewards, discounts, or benefits for either the referrer or the referred customer are determined solely by SensitHaptics. These benefits may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without prior notice and at the full discretion of SensitHaptics.
- Non-Stackable Incentives: Referral-related discounts or vouchers for referred customers cannot be combined with any other discounts, voucher codes, promotions, or incentives. Only one discount code or voucher may be applied per order.
- Program Oversight and Limitations: The referral program is operated and tracked through a third-party system (UpPromote). SensitHaptics is not liable for any technical issues, tracking failures, or system errors that may affect reward eligibility or distribution.
